These cereal bars seriously take us back to when we would grab a cereal bar before running out the door for school!! Crunchy, salty, and sweet in one perfect bite 😋 AND by adding the banana bread pecans in this recipe you get a bit of breakfast nostalgia on your way out the door 🍌
Try these bars the next time you’re meal prepping and throw them in your bag on your way to work or your next weekend outing 🙌
What You'll Need:
- 3 cups Cheerios
- 1 1/2 cup Chex cereal
- 1 bag Evie's Snacks Roasted Banana Bread Pecans
- 1/4 cup flour (can sub almond flour)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (melted)
How To Make:
- In a large bowl combine Cheerios, chex cereal, flour, and Banana Bread Pecans. Mix thoroughly.
- Add coconut oil, maple syrup, and almond butter in a small bowl. Stir until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until all of the cereal is completely coated. Place in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a small bowl in 30 sec increments. Stir until melted.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cereal bars and top with flaked salt.
- Place bake in the freeze for about 30 minutes to harden.
- Cut into pieces. These cereal bars will last up to a week in an airtight container in your refrigerator.
