What You'll Need:
For a batch of 14:
- 2 1/2 cups AP flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg, room temp
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 bag Evie’s Brown Butter Rum Pecans, chopped
For the glaze, mix together:
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- A pinch of salt
How to Make:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar with a stand mixer paddle or hand mixer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the egg and maple syrup.
- Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined. Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Using a large cookie scoop, separate dough into 14 balls and place 3 inches apart on parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely, glaze, and decorate as you wish!
