Pecan Pie French Toast Casserole by Fidelia Grace

We just seriously upped our pecan pie game… you need to try this PECAN PIE FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE. This is perfect for those of us who crave sweets in the morning!

What you’ll need:
6 eggs
½ cup coconut sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ loaf sourdough bread
½ cup butter (melted)
2 cups milk (can sub for almond milk)
1 cup Evie’s Snacks Original Pecans (chopped)

How to make:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Cut the sourdough bread into cubes or slices, whichever you prefer.
Arrange the bread cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
In a large bowl combine the eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla extract and whisk together.
Add the coconut sugar and the cinnamon and give it another mix. Set aside.
Chop the Evie’s Snacks pecans and then add them to the egg mixture.
Spread evenly to ensure the bread is fully coated.
Set aside for 10 minutes so the egg mixture can fully soak into the bread.
Bake at 375F for 40 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Let cool for 5 minutes and serve warm and hot.

Enjoy!
