Peanut Butter Apple Caramel Slices by Fidelia Grace

Peanut Butter Apple Caramel Slices by Fidelia Grace

If the key to your heart is peanut butter then you have to try these peanut butter caramel apple slices 🥜🍎 They will blow your mind 🤯🤯 and remind you of those huge caramel apples you used to get at the pumpkin patch 🎃

What you'll need:

 2 apples (sliced)

Peanut Butter Caramel Sauce:

 ½ cup peanut butter

 ¼ cup maple syrup

 8 tbsp coconut oil

 ⅛ tsp Salt

Topping:

 ½ cup melted chocolate

½ cup Evie’s Snacks Raw, Organic Pecans

 flaked sea salt

How to make:

Start by adding the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, and salt into a small bowl. Gently stir together until all the ingredients are incorporated. **If your peanut butter isn’t runny, heat it up in the microwave for 15-second increments to help soften it. Place the sauce in the refrigerator while you prepare your apples.

Cut your apples into thin slices and place a popsicle stick in the middle. **If you don’t have popsicle sticks, you can use a fork to dip the slices into the peanut butter caramel.

Dip each apple slice in the peanut butter caramel sauce and place on a parchment-lined baking tray. Add the chopped pecans on top and place in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave and then drizzle on each slice. Sprinkle flaked sea salt on top.

Place back in the freezer for another 10 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.

Remove from the freezer and enjoy!
