Pecan Brittle by Fidelia Grace

Pecan Brittle by Fidelia Grace

Crunchy, nutty, and oh-so-sweet! Pecan brittle is the perfect treat - especially when you use our Brown Butter Rum Pecans! They add a depth of flavor that you won’t get if you use just regular pecans.

What you’ll need:

 ¼ cup dark maple syrup

 1 tbsp coconut sugar

 1 cup butter

 ¼ cup water

1 bag Evie's Snacks Brown Butter Rum Pecans

 Flaky sea salt

How to make:

Add the maple syrup, butter, coconut sugar, and water to a small saucepan. Turn your burner on to medium heat and let the sugar start to dissolve.

Using a non-stick spoon or wooden spoon, start stirring the mixture so it doesn’t stick to the bottom. The sugar will be really hot at this point so be careful not to touch it.

Once the sugar starts boiling, continue to cook until it reaches 300F (candy brittle state).

Turn off the heat and then stir in the bag of brown butter rum pecans.

Quickly transfer to a parchment-lined baking tray.

Let sit for about 30 minutes.

 Break into pieces.

Enjoy! ✨
