Have you ever heard the words healthy and candy bar in the same sentence? Nope? Well now you have... This recipe is a MUST try. š¤¤
What You'll Need:
- 1 bagĀ pitted dates
- 1/4 cupĀ cultured coconut
- 1 bag Evie's Snacks Raw, Organic PecansĀ
- 1/2 cupĀ dark chocolate
- Flaky sea salt for topping
How To Make:
- Ā In a food processor, blend pitted dates and coconut yogurt until smooth. Place in fridge to set.
- In a 350F oven, roast pecans for about 10 minutes. This helps bring out their aroma and flavor!

In a bowl, mix together the date caramel and roasted pecans.
Place on a parchment lined baking sheet or other freezer safe tray (I used the lid of a Pyrex dish!) and smooth out. - Melt chocolate in microwave in 20 second increments. Check and mix with a fork to see if it can incorporate, if not add another 20 seconds and try again until full melted.
- Top pecan mixture with melted dark chocolate and flaky sea salt.
- Place in freezer to set for at least an hour! Enjoy cold :)
