Buttery, soft, and sweet - a cozy warming cookie that’s super easy to make and is so dang tasty. These maple pecan cookies are layered with Evie’s Snacks pecans and sweetened with a hint of maple syrup. Grab a cup of coffee and treat yourself to a bite of these heavenly cookies.
What You'll Need:
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp + 2 tsp maple syrup
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- ⅓ cup Evie’s Snacks Raw, Organic Pecans (chopped)
How To Make:
- Add the butter, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to a large bowl and mix with a hand mixer until light and fluffy,
- Add the flour, and cinnamon and mix again until combined.
- Add the chopped pecans to the dough and mix with a spatula.
- Place the dough on parchment paper and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Remove from the fridge and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Pre-heat oven to 350F.
- Roll dough out to ¼ inch thickness
- Cut out cookies and then bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden brown
- Let cool completely before moving to your cooling rack.
